The festival is an outdoor event. There is no space limitation for the festival. The online sales are now closed. If you purchased tickets online and want to access your transaction record, click here. For those who purchased online: just walk up to the will call booth, show I.D., and pick up your wristband.
The will call booth is located on Market Street, right across the Main Stage, in front of the Museum of Art.
Will call opening times: Friday, August 8: 4pm to 8:30pm Saturday, August 9: 11am to 8:30pm Sunday, August 10: 11am to 6pm.
Entrance and admission booth opening/closing times Each day, all the stages open one hour before the first concert starts, and close when the last performance ends. Check the festival schedule for performances times. Only the Main Stage gates open earlier: at 4pm on Friday; at 7am on Saturday and Sunday. Re-entryThe Comcast San Jose Jazz festival is held at a number of fenced sites. Festival visitors get a wristband at the entrance and they can use their wristbands to enter/re-enter any stage. How to be a VIP at the FestivalVIP pass includes: access to the VIP pavilion (food and refreshments), VIP reserved seating at the main stage, priority for access to the Smith Dobson and the Jazz at the Rep stages. Recycling/zero waste programThe festival recycles. Vendors use compostable cups, plates, silverware and containers. There are compost and recycling stations at each of the outdoor stages. Cans, bottles and cardboards will be collected by the San Jose Conservation Corps and recycled. Please help us recycle our waste. Security/safety:
There will be emergency medical personnel and security personnel onsite around the festival. If you need emergency medical or police attention, please contact one of our staff personnel or go to the information booth. StagesThere are 10 different stages: Main stage, Blues stage, Jazz at the Rep Stage, Smith Dobson Tribute stage, Latin Jazz stage, Salsa stage, Silicon Valley stage, Jazz After Dark stage, Rhythm and Blues stage, Jazz Beyond stage, and 48 Hour Jazz Club. Admission for the Festival is $10.00 per day (access to all the performances), $25 for the three days. Children 12 and under: free. Free access to the panels and master classes, the 48 Hour Jazz Club, and the Festival Club Crawl. Suggested donation for Jam Sessions, benefiting jazz education.
