Future of Jazz Stage

The 19th Comcast San Jose Jazz Festival presents concerts on the Future of Jazz Stage that feature musicians from the San Jose Jazz education programs and some of the brightest young talents of the Bay Area. Performers include Yuma Sung with the San Jose Jazz Youth Orchestra, Gail Dobson's Youth in Jazz, and combos from SJ Jazz's Summer Jazz Camp.

Jazz vocalist/teacher Gail Dobson brings to the San Jose Jazz Festival an amazing group of her vocal students, ages 9 thru 15, singing and swinging their heart's out! They will present some straight-ahead jazz, some samba, and a little Stevie Wonder to warm your hearts! They will be backed by the Smith Dobson V Trio.
