VTA is our Official Public Transportation Partner Taking VTA Light Rail to the 19th Annual Comcast San Jose Jazz Festival is quick, easy and stress-free. For added convenience, park in any of VTA’s park and ride lots, purchase an 8-Hour Light Rail Excursion Pass and enjoy the parade. The San Jose Jazz Festival location is served by VTA Light Rail (light rail runs every 15 minutes on weekends, exit at any downtown station) and Bus Lines 22, 23, 63, 64, 65, 66, 68, 72, 73, 81, 82, Express 180, and Rapid 522 to downtown San Jose.

Caltrain connects downtown San Jose to other Bay Area cities, from Gilroy to San Francisco. Bus 64 connects the San Jose Diridon Caltrain Station, to the festival grounds on weekends. To plan your trip: visit www.caltrain.com
Capitol Corridor and Acerail also ride you to San Jose Save on gas, think green: leave your car and take the train. Visit the travel page to find info about Capitol Corridor and Acerail.  ParkingIt is very easy and cheap to park next to the Festival grounds. There are numerous parking lots within walkable distance from the festival, most of them offer free or very cheap parking ($2 flat fee) during the weekends. The closest facilities offering free parking on weekends from 6 a.m.-6 p.m. ($2 flat fee after 6pm) are: - Market/San Pedro Square Garage (45 N. Market St., Between Santa Clara and St. John Streets)
- Second & San Carlos Street Garage (280 S. Second Street, also accessible from S. Third Street)
- San Fernando & South Second
(30 E. San Fernando St., just north of the Pavilion) - Pavilion Garage
(150 S. Second St., on S. Second just south of San Fernando) - San Fernando & Third St. Lot
(80 E. San Ferando Street, just north of San Jose Repertory Theatre)
