Trombonist, composer, and arranger Wayne Wallace is quickly becoming one of the major names to know in the Latin Jazz world. His recognition in 2004 and 2005 by Downbeat Magazine as a “rising star” artist after over two decades of playing with such artists as Pete Escovedo, John Santos and Machete, Julian Priester, Conjunto Céspedes, Tito Puente, Bobby Hutcherson, and Narada Michael Walden signaled Wayne’s move into the international spotlight. As comfortable in the studio as he is on the stage, Wayne is often commissioned to compose, arrange, or produce projects ranging from dance and theater performances to CD releases. website
